XAMPP with ILIAS

This time in english.

I’ve read many forum posts on ilias.de from people having problems running ILIAS local on there windows machine. This is why I made a single package with XAMPP and ILIAS for Windows with no need to install anything. It’s still a beta-version and not very well testet. Feedback ist very welcome (see readme_ILIAS.txt for the email address)!

Instruction

  • Download the package
  • Unzip the package somewhere on your harddrive or an usb stick
  • Read the readme_ILIAS.txt file
  • Enjoy and give feedback!

Information to the package

  • XAMPP 1.7.7 for Windows
  • ILIAS 4.2.1 4.2.2
  • slightly tested on Windows 7

    Thanks a bunch! I had real trouble getting this to work but now after testing it a little bit I did not encounter any problems until now!

    What kind of problem did occur and how did you solve them? Maybe this can help me to make the package work better. thanks!
